Call for Volunteers to InnoFrugal 2016 Conference
Would you like to be part of the most compelling and innovative conference in Spring 2016? Are you interested in the themes such as Open Innovation, Inclusive Business, Circular Economy, Cleantech and DIY/Maker Movement? The Nordic Frugal Innovation Society is looking for people to volunteer during our two-day InnoFrugal 2016 conference on 25-26 April 2016 held in Heureka, Finnish Science Centre in Vantaa.
InnoFrugal 2016 is a conference for best practices, policy analysis, latest thinking and successes in frugal innovation. It brings together world class experts, executives, entrepreneurs, investors and policymakers from across various domains such as: Technology, Education, Energy, Environment, Food, Healthcare & Water. Tasks and qualifications:
Volunteers are involved in a wide range of auxiliary tasks of the conference. Duties include, among other things, taking care of the registration and information desk, assisting speakers and guests, being as a contact person in conference rooms, including panels and working groups. Working hours are approximately 4-5 hours/day.
We are looking for a great interest in the theme of the conference and energetic approach to work. Due to the international nature of the conference we expect from volunteers fluency in the English language. Previous experience as a volunteer in other conferences would be an advantage.
Volunteers have an opportunity to attend, free of charge, the talks, panel discussions and workshops and they also have the possibility to visit Heureka´s exhibitions for free. In addition, we provide coffee and lunch to the volunteers. The volunteers will receive a certificate of the participation as well as an immemorial InnoFrugal T-shirt.

In your application please indicate to us why you are interested in volunteering for the conference and also if you are interested in being a volunteer on both days of the conference. Write in the subject field: VOLUNTEER.
For marketing and communications students, If you are also interesting in marketing related issues before the conference, express your interest to us soon as possible, but before 19 February by an e-mail.
Students could also ask from their schools about the possibility to get credits for their studies.
